I don’t know about you, but in my heart, I have always struggled with taking compliments from others. I have learned that a mark of a leader is to be gracious in accepting compliments, but also is humility. As I look to Jesus as my example in true biblical leadership, I see a man unconcerned about puffing up His platform or counting the amount of times He healed someone of set someone free.

As some of you may know, my husband Isaac works with thought leaders of today through his company Choose Growth. Every once in a while when we are meeting new potential partners for his growing company, he mentions this little book I wrote, because he is that kind of man. He’s pretty proud of his wife. 😉 But often he asks me to share the exciting movement behind this book and how it is being used by God. Most times I find myself a bit uncomfortable talking about the “hot exciting news” in front of people, unless he preps me. But as I was meditating on Romans 15 this week, the Lord convicted me that I am His ambassador called and chosen to share the good news of what HE IS DOING through this ministry.

“And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.””
1 Corinthians 1:30-31, ESV

So this post is me boasting in what God has done, because truly, it is His. I would have nothing to share worth writing, nothing to speak worth speaking if not for His Holy Spirit guiding me, counseling me, and for His work in me when Jesus died on the cross for my sins. Yesterdays sins, today’s sins, and tomorrow’s as well.
Tonight I share the exciting things He has done and is doing in the hearts and homes of those who have joined me in “Redeeming Childbirth Together!”

Since Redeeming Childbirth: Experiencing His Presence in Pregnancy, Labor, Childbirth and Beyond was published and released Jan. 15 of this year we have had the joy of watching the Lord take this to those He has wanted to read it!

• Redeeming Childbirth Hit #1 the second- third weeks of the launch in it’s category on Amazon
• We have an exciting track record with 4.7 stars out of 5 with 46 reviews on Amazon
• The vision of the website grew from a mini book site to a full time ministry reaching between 900-3k people every week
• We have sold almost 1700 books & ebooks of Redeeming Childbirth
• We have sold over 400 Growth & Study Guides in printed form and it was published in July of 2013
  
• We were able to participate in an Ebook Bundle this spring in which we submitted the Redeeming Childbirth: Growth & Study Guide in pdf form before it was published in printed version, reaching many
• We have been able to get this book, as an evangelistic tool, into the hands of those seeking to abort their babies and/or simply lost and alone, needing a Savior
• Midwives and Doctors have purchased bulk orders and used this book and study guide as the foundation for their childbirth education classes, taught in clinics and in churches all over the United States and abroad.
• We have personally shipped boxes of bulk orders and RC Packs to 9 countries outside the United States including Amsterdam, Germany, Singapore, Australia, Zambia, Mexico, Indonesia, Brazil, and Canada
• Dear to my heart are the countless testimonial emails expressing gratitude and sharing the change they have experienced in their personal walks with the Lord as they prepared for birth and motherhood {both from new moms and seasoned as well}.
• A growing online community of women engaging and sharing prayer requests through both our private mentoring groups and our open facebook page. This week we hit a 2k milestone on our facebook page, which far surpassed my expectations since this platform didn’t exist long before the book was released.
• More babies are being born. Unexpectedly, I have received more emails that share testimonies from women who thought they were “done” having babies and who after reading this book have felt the call to receive another blessing from the Lord. Miraculously, even in such a short time, many of those women have responded again with the news of being with child! That literally blows my mind! This is one example of how the Holy Spirit is moving in people’s hearts and bringing healing and wholeness in different ways through this ministry. What an honor to be a part of–really. I am so humbled. It just gives me chills every time I think about it! Birth is Bigger than My Belly! Amen?! {Inside joke for those who have read the book}
• We have been invited to speak on many occasions on Redeeming Childbirth to share on this vision of Redeeming the Division Among Women in the Church! Through this and engaging women, teaching them about their roles as Aspiring Titus 2 Women and being intentional with what they are teaching their children, I have witnessed hearts repent and change, hearts weep and be held and encouraged through some pain. This is what it is all about.

These have just been some of the few examples of “exciting news” and developments on this journey the past 8 months!

So tonight I want to simply praise God for what He has done, what He is doing, and what He is going to continue doing with this ministry. I am in awe. And so thankful to be a part of this with you. It’s not about the numbers, it’s about what the numbers represent: the lives that are being touched, the lives being born, the marriages being strengthened, and God being glorified more and more… that is what it is all about!
